Yes friends, this is in remembrance of the most famous male character of Gilmore Girls Lucas “Luke” Danes. He is very close to both Rory and Lorelai who visit him frequently. They eventually become true friends and grow very fond of each other. Though he has feelings for Lorelai but he is never able to disclose them to her due to the hindrances by her ex-boyfriend Max Medina and his own ex. The Gilmore Girls pair also has warm feelings for him.

Though Luke sounds anti-social, sarcastic, pessimistic, and gruff but he is soft at heart. This is evident from the fact that when Lorelai announces her engagement to Max, he pretends to be happy for her. Another incident showing his concern for loved ones is when he feels sad after Liz’s son Jess leaves him though they didn’t share a very healthy relation. He also expanded his apartment in-order to house Jess when he returns.

He has a bad experience with a woman he marries Nicole Leahy who cheats on him and ultimately the marriage ends. His love for Lorelai grows over time and finally they are in a relationship. On Gilmore Girls, Lucas was the most cherishing guy and was the owner of Luke’s Diner. He lost his mother in early childhood and was raised by his father along with his sister, named Liz. Initially, he helped his father to run his hardware store. After the death of his father, he turned the store into diner but kept all the original architecture in order to pay honor to him. The central characters of Gilmore Girls, such as Rory and Lorelai, were often seen at his diner so he had a good relationship with them. As series went on, Lucas developed romantic feelings for Lorelai. Ah… poor Lucas!
