Agena began her acting career in the theatre in Honolulu, Hawaii and performed at arts school ‘Mid Pacific School of The Arts’.

As a student, she was one of only four actors nationwide chosen as a Presidential Scholar in the Arts and was able to meet President Bush. After graduation, Agena moved to Los Angeles.

She guest-starred on ER as the mother of a deaf boy , on sister as a student reporter and on Beverly Hills.

She appeared in the made-for-television movie ‘Terror in the Shadows’ and in an independent feature ‘Hundred Percent’, ‘Red Thread’. Recently, Agena took on the challenging role of a young woman struggling with anorexia nervosa in Lifetime’s Strong Medicine.

She was a member of the Meisner-based ITC ensemble, the TPA ensemble and “hereandnow,” an Asian-American acting company. When not working, Agena relishes her newfound love of drumming, which she began for her role on Gilmore Girls. She also enjoys practicing yoga and riding her motorcycle. She likes to spend a great deal of time eating with friends.

She currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She is most known for her roles as Lane Kim on “Gilmore Girls” and as Leila Foster on “Felicity.”
