Its fans love for ‘Gilmore Girls series‘ star cast which makes them curious to know more and more about them. As of now, when series has ended, we all always try to know what our favorite stars of Gilmore Girls, especially Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), are doing?
A few days ago, we come to know that Lauren Graham would play a role in Broadway’s latest revival of “Guys and Dolls”. And, now it’s the time to know something special about Alexis Bledel. The gorgeous lady will make an appearance on ‘ER’ (For more details, go to ER TV show here), on the series finale of the long running NBC network TV show. She would play the role of a new intern at County General Hospital. The episode which she is making appearance on would air on April 2, 2009 and it’s entitled ‘And in the End…’.
It’s gonna be pretty interesting to see a familiar face, in a brand new look and character. It’s sure that lady would do it very efficiently. It’d be her first TV appearance after the Gilmore Girls series finale ‘Bon Voyage’, although she performed in some movies during this time period.
Well, I am excitedly waiting to see my favorite actress from my favorite TV show ‘Gilmore Girls’ on my second favorite TV show ‘ER’. I’ve been a fan of Alexis since the premiere of Gilmore Girls and with her splendid performance as Rory Gilmore, she managed to make millions of young hearts crazy for her. Rory was the only daughter of a single mother and series represented the best example ever of mother-daughter love. Character of Lorelai Gilmore and performance of Lauren Graham helped to make things best from better.Gilmore Girls is still there in our hearts, although it has been a long time since its cancellation. Yeah, it was the episode where the seven seasons long ‘Gilmore Girls‘ ended its journey. In the beginning of the episode, we saw that Lorelai was driving Rory to the Inn so that she could meet Christiane Amanpour. Rory didn’t believe her mother until she saw the correspondent with her own eyes. Lorelai introduced her self and Rory to Christiane. At the end of the meeting, Christiane gave some advice to Rory and gave her a card as well. She asked Rory to stay in touch and it was more than enough to make Rory thrilled and in high spirits.
Next scene was in Rory’s bedroom. Here, we saw Lorelai and Rory planning a month long trip. Later, we saw that Rory was offered a dream job as a political reporter. Luke had plans to throw a grand party for her and he asked everyone in Stars Hollow to help him make the party a special one and unforgettable one.
Ultimately, it was the party time and Emily and Richard appeared at the occasion. Rory, very delighted because of everyone’s care and concern, delivered a speech thanking everyone for supporting her to start a new phase of her life. Luke got something which he might not have expected. Overwhelmed with Luke’s thoughtfulness, Lorelai gave him a kiss.
Next, it was the morning when Rory had to leave. So, she and Lorelai were doing the last minute preparations. It was a sad time for both mother and daughter and they were trying to soothe each other’s heart. Luke opened the diner just in hope to have a celebratory breakfast with Gilmore Girls. At diner, Rory realized that Luke and Lorelai had feelings for each other and the episode ended with Lorelai and Rory sharing nothing, but everything actually!
Gilmore Girls… really, no one can ever forget such a brilliant drama! It was awesome in true words and fans are still looking for some more episodes of series. I know, it’d never return but there are little chances of movie or spin-off of ‘Gilmore Girls’ … if ever!
If you are thinking that why do I keep writing about this series, which has been cancelled long time back? Then, there is just one reason behind this and that is, that I really miss the series and I don’t think that any other series can ever take its place. The way the relationship and emotions between a mother and daughter have been portrayed in this series is just amazing. The mother daughter series has everything in it; especially the passion that they portrayed has always touched me.
I still remember the pilot, of the series, the series right from the very beginning showed the comfort level that the two shared. The very first episode of the series showed us how a mother can do anything in order to get the best for her daughter. In the pilot we are told that Rory is able to get admission at Chilton, a very expensive preparatory school. Lorelai, on the other hand, does not have the money to afford the expenses of the school, but she goes ahead and asks for loan from her parents with whom she is not on talking terms. Rory at first is upset with her mother for doing so, but when she learns that her mother did so because of her, she feels bad and promises to be on her side. It is this level of comfort that the two share and not only here but at every point in life. This is one aspect of relationship between the two that I have admired the most.
All that I think of at times is that, if, I could get to see some more seasons from the series. Why don’t the creators think of renewing the series just like they did with Beverly Hills 90210? I am sure there are many of us who really miss the series and would like to watch, more of it. Hello…. Am I ringing some bells? I just hope that my, this suggestion gets across and that some one gives a serious thought to it. Till then, I guess, I will have to do it with the recaps only.
