Season 4
Season 4’s first episode ‘Ballrooms and Biscotti’ was first aired on 9-23-2003.
With the commencement of Gilmore Girls’ fourth Season, Lorelai has returned home after a European Trip and is informed that Sookie St. James is pregnant. Current year is Rory’s freshman year at Yale University and she is preparing for that. Rory meets her new roommates: Tanna, a 15 year old prodigy; Janet, a sports jock; and Paris Geller, Rory’s former schoolmate. During the fourth season, Lorelai’s friendship with the Café owner is endangered by some events. Sookie and Jackson nervously prepare for a Home Birth. Rory’s grandma suddenly dies; and jess tries to arouse their romance. Lindsay Lister and Dean got married. The season ends up with another break up between Rory and Jess and with the opening of Dragonfly Inn. At the end of season, the relationship between Lorelai and newly divorced Luke also got deepen. Last episode the ‘Raincoats and Recipes’ of the season was aired on 5-18-2004.

Rory and Dean take a major step forwarded in their relationship and Lorelai reminds hr that she is married. Lorelai’s parents admit that they’re separated. Jason appears at the Inn to declare his case with Lorelai. Luke answers Lorelai’s question about the status of their relationship when he makes it passionately clear to Lorelai that they’re dating, to which she enthusiastically agrees.
