Season 6

Season 6 opens with Lorelai Gilmore who proposes the marriage to diner owner Luke Danes. As Rory has decided to drop out of the Yale University so she drops but luckily returns to the campus also taking over the post of an ‘editor’ for college newspaper. Rory-Logan relationship is not going good after she learns of his various infidelities while speaking to the bridesmaids at his sis’s marriage. Logan got injured while performing a stunt and his-her (Rory) relationship blossoms again when she nurses him. Logan is being forced by his father to join his London newspaper. Richard and Emily are thinking to give their marriage a second chance. Lorelai’s business partner Sookie again joins her responsibilities of new motherhood. Liz is made pregnant by her hubby TJ; Lane Kim weds Zach.

Season 6 opens with the episode ‘New and Improved Lorelai’ on 9-13-2005. Season finale ‘Partings’ was aired on 5-9-2006.

Season 6’s #1 Episode – ‘Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out

Jess visits Rory at her grandparents’ house and his visit makes Rory think about her relation with Logan. Emily tries to use some parental discipline as she learns about Rory’s sudden evasiveness. Luke is ready to sponsor a girls’ soccer team.
