When Lauren was queried regarding binding herself in this long project, she said, “Yeah. I’ve been out of that work for, I guess it’s been two-and-half years now. I did a Broadway show, I did three movies… I [enjoyed] working freelance like that. So, strangely, as much as I’ve been looking for a series almost since I ended that last one, it was almost like, “But wait… ” I’ve enjoyed [the variety] of projects I’ve done. That’s hard to think about giving up.”

The latest buzz is about Lauren Graham, whom we know as the single, young mother, Lorelai Gilmore from our favorite show Gilmore Girls. Well the actress has recently bagged a role in Broadway’s latest revival of “Guys and Dolls”. She will be seen playing the role of Adelaide, the long-suffering, slightly dizzy fiancé of a sweet-natured gambler named Nathan Detroit whose role will be played by Oliver Platt.

Eve though the character of Adelaide has been portrayed as a nightclub singer for a long time, in this latest production, directed by Des McAnuff, the character will be portrayed as a burlesque performer. For this role, the Gilmore Girls star was required to wear a blond wig besides several skimpy costumes that she has to shed during two striptease numbers.

Lauren was hugely appreciated for her role in the Gilmore Girls. Her unusual charm and her talent for chattering at the speed of lightening not only got her a loyal fan following but also got her nominated to many prestigious awards. Her great talent at comedy came across in Gilmore Girls and she became an inseparable part of the show. There were not much people around so I just settled down on a nice place, soaked a cane of juice and had some cookies until the silence around started troubling me. Today I was not in the mood to go back to my apartment and to watch the comedy series or dramas anymore. So I just switched on my laptop and started surfing on internet and I just saw some nice pictures of a lady on a celebrity images site. Oh my God I have seen this picture before, and it was Lauren Graham, the lady from Gilmore girls. It reminded me of the show which ended up in the May last year. I remember I was very fond of the show. it was a serious kind of drama series, I least like the drama but I really loved its plot.

Well let’s come back to that lady in pictures. She was playing Lorelai Victoria Gilmore, the caring and worried mother of Rory. She played as teenage mother of Rory and I think according to the age of the character she was the right choice by the show producers. I have seen her in Law and Orders too as Hollywood film producer, but I liked her more in the role of a mother in trouble. Her arguments with her parents on the Friday night dinners and in the episodes where she agrees to accept all of her parent’s conditions to support Rory’s education, all was her recommendable performance.

And why not, Gilmore Girls is an Emmy award winner show. In her pictures she looks gorgeous in red color as well as in light blue. I have read somewhere that she is now working in movies. I am sure she will create a sensation there also. I really miss the gorgeous Lauren.
